Feeling Generous?

The Historical Society depends on the generosity of its members and the community. There are many items we need  to help us continue to offer a History Center and our many programs and events.

Stamps are a big expense for us, but are an easy item for the public to donate.  A roll of stamps costs $45 and would help us immensely as we mail out five program flyers and four newsletters annually. (And we will happily accept even a book of stamps!)

In addition, we always need items at Office Depot—such as ink cartridges and paper for our printer. A gift card for any amount will help us defray the costs of buying those supplies. And if you buy the cards at Giant Eagle, you’ll get fuel perks. So in a way, you’ll be helping yourself as well as the Society!

Tape Recorder (for oral histories)        $450

Metal Bookshelf                    $250

Security system                    $2,500 (approx)

Newsletter underwriter                 $150 per issue/$600 annually

Website underwriter                $200 annually

Program sponsor                    $75 per program/$350 annually

High School Book Award co-sponsor        $60

Annual Dinner Sponsor                $500

A film/negative/photo scanner             $300-500

A laptop projector                     $1,000-$3,000

Toner cartridges for printer             $78/per unit
