St. Clair Cemetery Tombstone Dedication
A
dedication of seven new markers installed by Boy Scout Troop # 323 was
held 11 a.m., Saturday, October 7, 2006. The Historical Society of
Mount Lebanon helped with the project and the dedication. The project, lead by Boy Scout Robert Ryan (as his Eagle Scout project), was to order new, government issue markers for seven of the cemetery's most worn Civil War veteran tombstones. The veterans who received new stones are:
Mathew Black
George B. Milholland
Henry House
Daniel McCartney
Joseph Couch
William Quigg
Thomas Boss
The dedication was the project's finale. The month before, Robert received word he would be granted his Eagle Scout.
We wish to thank the many people who made the event possible includingÂ
bagpiper Ryan Stephenson
The Rev. Dr. Robert E Walkup, who gave the opening and closing prayers State Senator John Pippy, for his remarks
The Rev. Dr. Robert Maravalli, of Mt. Lebanon United Presbyterian Church, who presented the dedication.

Senior patrol leader Brice Very, who led the Pledge of Allegiance
