Historic Preservation Board
Is a municipal board that was created to advise the Mt. Lebanon Commission on matters relating to:
Historic preservation
Identifying significant structures or sites within the municipality
Recommending a historic marker system
Recommending nominations for the National Register of Historic Places
Monitoring developments in historic preservation
Working to educate Mt. Lebanon property owners on preservation issues
Other tasks related to preserving the community
The seven-member board meets 7 p.m., the third Monday of every month in the municipal building, 710 Washington Road.
The Historic Preservation Board offers several programs for residents, including RenPlan for those people considering remodeling their home and block party tours.
